Athens, Santorini and Crete

Hi, my partner and I are travelling through Europe and the UK in July and August. We will be in Greece in late July, for about a week and a half.

We would like to stay a couple of days in Athens and then go on to Santorini and Crete. We've been thinking of staying in Chania.

There's so much to see, but we are worried that we won't have enough time. Any suggestions on where to stay, how long to stay and things to do would be much appreciated.

We are flying to London after Crete.
